Not feeling like yourself? I am here to help.
I have a heart for teachers, couples going through sexual addiction and/or betrayal, and helping individuals in their journey. Life can be challenging and having a safe space to open up, be vulnerable, and be heard is important for growth and overall wellness. I’d be honored to come along side you and join you in your path to healing.
Please feel free to call or email with any questions you may have.
Hello, my name is Sara Ramos. I received my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Prior to graduate school, I obtained my Bachelor Degrees in Early Childhood Education and Bible from Johnson Bible College. After teaching kindergarten for 12 years in Knox County Schools, I felt God calling me into counseling.
I believe there is healing and hope for difficult things and my heart is to sit in the brave space with others as we journey together through it.
I have a heart for teachers, young adults, couples, women struggling with habitual sexual behaviors, couples recovering from discovery of habitual sexual behaviors, and partners of those who struggle with habitual sexual behaviors. I am currently a APSAT, Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialist, trainee seeking licensure. I am also in the process of becoming EFT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, certified. EFT provides couples, in ny season of marriage, in whatever difficulty, to connect at an emotional level. Whatever season of life you are in or situation you are facing, I would be honored to face it with you.
My areas of focus are:
- Individuals (Ages 15+)
- Couples Therapy (including Pre-Marital)
- Couples Dealing with Sexual Addiction
- Partners of Sexual Betrayal
Outside of the therapy office, I love being outside, working out, reading, and spending time with family & friends.
