Hello, my name is Whitney and I am a certified enneagram coach.

I use the enneagram as a powerful tool for self exploration and discovery to help you reach your true and best self, along with transforming relationships, both personal and professional, into healthy and sustainable ones.

The enneagram is a unique personality typology system that provides a comprehensive exploration of nine distinct personalities or nine ways of being in the world. The nine types date back to ancient times and shine an in-depth light on the HOW and WHY each individual thinks, feels, and behaves according to each type. The emphasis on the WHY is what sets it apart from any other personality resource out there. The enneagram focuses on motivations behind our thoughts, feelings, and decisions, opposed to focusing on behaviors alone.

My goal is to help you find your sense of belonging and transformation through the self awareness you’ll gain through learning your enneagram type. I want to use the enneagram to help you become your truest and best self, while also creating more empathy and compassion for yourself and others. We are all created uniquely different, and if you are ready I’d love to help you start the journey to become your best self.

I graduated in 2011 from TN Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Relations with a minor in Psychology. However, it wasn’t until 2017 that I discovered the Enneagram. Since then, I’ve developed a passion for learning and studying all about the Enneagram and how it impacts personal development.

Using the Enneagram, I have personally experienced this positive transformation and its impact on my relationships.

The Enneagram has truly changed my life. I decided I wanted to help others learn all about the Enneagram and experience positive transformations in their own lives as well.

    About Me

I love books and podcasts of all kinds. I usually set a goal at the beginning of each year of how many books to read and it is really fun to meet that goal throughout the year.

I also am an avid soccer fan. My husband and I have played for many years, and then turned to coaching after we finished school. We have coached many ages, and really enjoy staying connected to our community and schools through soccer. I also love planning trips and traveling to places I have never been to before.

Most of the time, I can be found staying at home with my littles, ages 2 and 5, planning activities and making up fun games for them. I love being their mom and watching them discover the world through their eyes. I have always had a passion for families and family development, and that passion has just continued to grow since starting my own family.

My husband and I met in preschool, and that is where, you could say, my crush on him developed. When we are asked how we met, I always am the first to respond that I have loved him since preschool. We are very blessed to have grown up together, in a small town near a beautiful state park that offers lots of outdoor activities. We spend a lot of time looking for our next adventure between tubing down the local river to hiking up to natural arches or nearby waterfalls.

I haven’t always known exactly what I wanted to do when I “grow up,” but I’ve always gravitated towards human development and relations in some shape or form. When I first discovered the enneagram, I was very curious how it could be so different from any other personality typing system. I’ll never forget finding out my core number on the enneagram system.

I was overcome with so many feelings, but mainly I just felt seen and validated. I never knew something could pinpoint my inner world and teach me how to articulate it to others. After that, I developed a deep passion to learn as much as I could about all 9 personality types. The enneagram has changed the way I view myself, how I talk to myself, and even how I relate to others now.

It has helped my husband and I understand each other on a deeper level than ever before. Suddenly I can see and study my husband’s inner world and what motivates his thoughts, feelings, and actions as well.  I started reading all kinds of books and listening to podcasts to learn as much as I could. I even attended my first seminar in March of 2019 lead by the enneagram “Godmother”, Suzanne Stabile as she taught a group of 400+ a lesson titled “Relationships & the Enneagram. It was around that time that I felt the calling to become an enneagram coach. I want others to experience this life changing practice.

I am a Christian and have had a real love for Jesus for as long as I can remember. I grew up singing with my parents and brother at our home church, as well as other churches in our area. I love connecting the enneagram with my spiritual journey along with the scriptures of the bible. I like to remind everyone that the enneagram is an amazing and powerful tool.

It is important to see the enneagram as just that, a tool. The enneagram should never be seen as a replacement of God’s holy word. However, I can use the enneagram alongside God’s scriptures to incorporate a faith based approach, while I also offer a non-religious coaching approach, and respect the personal choice of each client.
