Coaching Education & Work

Colleen Crawford, Coaching Director

I am obtaining my education as a coach through the Professional Christian Coaching Institute and I’m working towards certification through the International Coaching Federation.

I coach exclusively through CrossroadsTN and can meet you in person, or on video.

My coaching orientation is derived from the stories each person tells, whether it’s a story they share with others, or hide it within the depths of their hearts, or ponder it in their minds.  It’s these stories, hopes, dreams, and desires that hold keys to unlock the doors to life’s lessons, opportunities, growth, and even unknown destinations waiting to be discovered.

About Me

Colleen and Wesley Crawford

North meets South, falls in love and gets married.  Then for the rest of my life, my husband, Wesley, and I will debate whether we are eating dinner, or supper. I’ll be getting ready to do something, while he is fixin’ to do something.  Such is our lives, but I love it!

My passions include city homesteading, project management, art, music, and writing.  I enjoy growing flowers and feeding hummingbirds. When I’m not coaching, you can probably find me hanging out in my garden, or if it’s winter, I’m planning my garden and looking forward to the return of the hummingbirds.

I adore God and when I think of all the galaxies He created, that we can’t even reach, I’m confident He can manage the lives of people, in spite of their circumstances.  My worldview lies within Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”   It’s all His, and He created this because He loves us. If you think about it, we are on a planet that sustains life, while it spins in one direction, and travels forward through space, all at the same time!  This makes us “astronauts” going through space on a massive ship.

During that time we travel on this planet we accumulate our own stories.  Some are painful.  Some are adventurous.  Some are mysterious.  Some have left us having to start over again.  Regardless of your story, I would like to journey with you as you explore what plans God has for you personally, professionally, as a ministry, or even the unknown, depending on where you are on your journey.

While my style of coaching is based on my faith through Scripture, I respect the views of others and we can work together to help you get to where you want to go.

To learn more about the ‘What’s Your Story’ you can click on the image.

The idea for this coaching model comes from having my plans continually changed, without understanding why God would allow my story to never resolve.   The line in the logo above is symbolic of a story plot diagram.  The left line is where the exposition would be defined.  The left line rising up to the peak represents the rising action.

The peak represents the climax.  That’s when the character gets that ah ha! moment, and change has to take place.  The line going down on the right is the falling action.  It’s what happens when God begins to act on your behalf of that ah ha! moment.  The last part of the line is the resolution.   And it’s who I am today, sharing the What’s Your Story with others.

Let’s journey together!
